‘We have to harden our schools’: Trump makes arming teachers his top safety goal

On February 22, 2018. The Washington Post published "‘We have to harden our schools’: Trump makes arming teachers his top safety goal".In this article, Trump argued that arming teaching is the best solution against high school shooting. As you know, last week a student killed 17 children shooting at them at a high school in South Florida. After this tragic day, students are walking on the street demanding gun control. Personally, I do not agree that to solve this problem we have with armed teaching. We can't stop this deadliest high school shooting by providing more guns. Trump said he envisioned about 20 percent of teachers having concealed weapons and said they would have “military or special training experience.” Later Thursday, he suggested the figure could be as high as 40 percent. His idea of arming teaching is not a good solution. He should concentrate on gun control by restricting ages. If he made guns accessible to people over 21 years old. I am sure we won't hear any story like this one because At the age of 21 we are done with high school. If someone has a mental issue and repeats what happens this day, a teacher with a gun won’t stop him. Sometimes, fighting the fire by the fire is not the best solution. I believe that this problem can be solved only if the government accept to do a hard regulation about guns. Children are afraid to go to school and claim on the street that government help murders. This action taken by children need to make the government realize that there is an important issue going on.
